I ask you to realize that when you forget your appointment or fail to cancel with enough notice in advance, I miss out on an opportunity to fill that time slot resulting in income lost, and my waitlist clients miss the chance to receive my services. Since I realize that it is easy to forget an appointment made weeks in advance, all my appointments are confirmed 72 hours in advance and reminded again at 24 via automated texts. Cancellation fees will apply and I will require you to provide your credit card information in order to book any appointments. 1) 36+ hours is required to reschedule with no penalties 2) Less than 36 hours notice will require a payment of 50% of the services booked 3) a “No show” will be charged 100% of the booked service price, this will not go towards future appointments 4) repetitive (2+) last minute cancellations will result in prepayment of scheduled services in full in order to book any future appointments I understand that unforseeable situations arise (illness, injury, emergencies, etc.) and I will allow one last minute reschedule without a penalty before enforcing these policies the next time (with the exception of the months of October-December, in which there will be no one strike policy due to it being the busiest time of year). The purpose of this cancellation policy is to enable myself to inform my waitlist clients of any availability with plenty of time for them to make it work and keep my schedule filled as well as support my livelihood. My number one priority is providing above and beyond services for each one of my established and future clients and this allows me to do so.
